BUSINESS MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE

Business management software
to digitize your processes

At Proment Consulting we implement and develop the business management software your company needs: ERP, CRM, custom solutions and integrations. We analyze your processes and decide with you on the most cost-effective route, whether that is a standard platform or a custom build.

What is business management software?

Business management software is the system where a company’s day-to-day operations live: customers, orders, invoicing, inventory, projects or staff, depending on the case. When it works well, each piece of data is entered once and everyone works from the same information. When it does not, you get parallel spreadsheets, duplicated data and hours of work nobody accounts for.

We are Odoo and Microsoft partners: we implement off-the-shelf ERP systems, develop modules on top of them or build custom software. Which one suits you depends on what you need today, what you will need tomorrow and how closely the way you work matches what a standard product takes for granted. That is the first thing we analyze.

Types of business management software

The most common systems in a company

Not every company needs the same thing. These are the most common management systems.

They usually work connected to each other.

In many companies the starting point is an ERP, and the CRM, custom developments or integrations are added as the business requires. With platforms such as Odoo or Dynamics 365, everything grows on the same foundation, without switching systems.

Choosing well from the start avoids costly system changes later on. That is why, before recommending a solution, we review which processes you want to digitize, which information you need at hand and which tools your team already uses. If you work with spreadsheets or with software you have outgrown, we migrate your data to the new system and train your team so the change happens in an orderly way.

ERP

Manages internal operations (finance, invoicing, purchasing, inventory or production) in a single system, so every department works from the same data.

CRM

Centralizes your customer relationships: contacts, opportunities, quotes and sales follow-up. That way sales always knows where each customer stands.

Custom software

When your operations have particularities that no standard product solves, we develop modules on top of the ERP or a tool of your own.

Connected systems

Connects the ERP, the CRM, the online store or other tools so data flows on its own, without copying it by hand.

Off-the-shelf ERP or custom development

Off-the-shelf ERP

When an existing solution covers what you need now and what you will need later. It is implemented faster, has the vendor’s support and roadmap, and the initial investment is lower.

Custom modules on an ERP

The middle route: you build on the Odoo or Dynamics foundation and develop on top whatever is specific to your business, without giving up the product or its updates.

Fully custom development

When needs are specific and adapting them to a standard product would mean changing the way you work. The system is built around your processes, not the other way round.

Frequently asked questions about business management software

The ERP manages the company’s internal operations: finance, invoicing, purchasing, inventory or production. The CRM focuses on customer relationships: contacts, sales opportunities, quotes and sales follow-up. Platforms such as Odoo or Dynamics 365 include both and connect them, so sales and administration work from the same data.

It depends on how closely the way you work matches what a standard product takes for granted. If an off-the-shelf ERP covers what you need, it is implemented faster and the initial investment is lower. If your operations have particularities, modules can be developed on top of the ERP. And when adapting to the standard would mean changing processes that work, custom software development is the better choice. We analyze it with you before recommending an option.

Both are complete platforms and we are partners of both. Odoo is modular: you start with the apps you need and add others as you grow. Dynamics 365 integrates with the Microsoft ecosystem (Microsoft 365, Teams, Power BI) and includes Copilot. The choice depends on the size of the company, your processes, the tools you already use and how you expect to grow.

Yes. We connect the management software with your CRM, your online store, Moodle, databases or other tools through APIs and connectors. You can read more in our systems integration service. If what you need is to connect your website, see our web integrations.

Yes. We migrate the data from your current software to the new system, such as customers, suppliers or products, and check that it arrives complete and correct before go-live.

Both options are possible. We work with cloud solutions, accessible from anywhere, and also on your own server, when the company prefers to keep its data on its own infrastructure. We recommend whichever fits your case best.

It depends on the type of project: implementing an off-the-shelf ERP is not the same as developing custom modules or a complete system. Scope, the areas and users involved and whether data needs to be migrated also play a part. That is why we do not give generic timeframes: we assess it with you when we analyze your case, and you can start with a first phase and extend the solution step by step.

Yes. We build scalable solutions, ready to take on new modules, users or features.

No. We train your team to use the system with confidence, and we configure the tools so day-to-day work is clear and simple.
