Frequently asked questions about Odoo
What is the difference between Odoo Community and Odoo Enterprise?
Community is open source and free, but it leaves out features and modules most companies end up needing. Enterprise is paid, per user and module, and includes those features plus official support. We normally work with Enterprise precisely because of what it adds, although we assess each case.
Can Odoo be adapted to my company's processes?
Largely yes, thanks to its modular structure and configuration options. Whatever the standard product does not cover is solved by customizing existing modules or developing new ones. The initial analysis defines what falls into each category. We work with companies in every sector; what changes from one to another is which modules are switched on and what is customized.
Which modules can be implemented?
Odoo covers sales, CRM, purchasing, inventory, invoicing, projects, human resources, manufacturing and ecommerce, among others. You do not need to switch them all on: you start with the ones that solve the most urgent needs and expand later, which is also what we recommend.
Does Odoo comply with Verifactu and Spanish tax rules?
Yes. During implementation we configure Odoo’s Spanish localization: chart of accounts, taxes, SII, e-invoicing and Verifactu, so your invoicing complies with the regulations from day one.
Can data be migrated from our current system?
Yes. The work is not in moving the data but in deciding beforehand what is carried over and how: which history to keep, which information is duplicated and which criteria are unified. That part is settled in the initial analysis.
Is Odoo installed in the cloud or on our own server?
We work with all three options: Odoo Online, Odoo’s own cloud and the simplest choice; Odoo.sh, also in the cloud but with room for custom developments; and your own server, if you prefer to keep it on your infrastructure. We recommend the one that fits your users, your customizations and your team.
How much does it cost to implement Odoo?
There are two costs: licenses, paid per user and according to the active modules, and the implementation, which depends on how many processes need configuring, whether there is a data migration and whether custom developments are needed. It is defined after the initial analysis.

It depends on the scope: how many modules are switched on, how many processes need configuring, whether there is a data migration and whether custom developments are needed. That is why we do not give timelines up front: the schedule is set after the initial analysis and planned in phases.
Can you work on an Odoo we already have?
Yes, and it is quite common. We review the current configuration, the active modules and what was left out, and from there we extend, customize or fix it. It does not matter if we did not carry out the original implementation. And if it is on an old version, we upgrade it to a newer one, reviewing modules and customizations first so everything keeps working.
Do you provide support after implementation?
Yes, always. We solve incidents, adjust the configuration when your processes change and keep training your team when new people join or modules are switched on.
What does being an Odoo partner mean?
We are an Odoo partner, which means we work within its partner program and can use its badge. In practice, we know what the standard product covers in each version, which shortens the initial analysis and avoids developing what Odoo already does out of the box. Compared with implementing it on your own, the difference is not switching on more modules than you need, getting accounting properly set up for Spanish regulations and having someone who trains your team and provides support afterwards.
